Santa Delivery

Santa dropped this off for AJ on Christmas. Actually it took a few weekends to put together. Most of it was leftover wood from nearby construction, I was going to buy a slide at Home Depot but found this one on the side of the freeway driving home from work one day.

Tag...I'm finally doing it due to the overwhelming requests

Ok, here's my tag...I've been tagged 3 times and have never done it (that's because everytime I sit down to do it I hear "MMMOOOM" or "WWAAAA". Here goes

10 years ago:

1. Moved to Inkom
2. Was playing Soccer for Marsh Valley (go Eagles)
3. Drove a sweet white Nissan Truck (Nick and I fighting over whose it really was)
4. Thought I was cooler than I was
5. Not to interested in any of the dates I was going on

5 Things on my To Do list:

1. Go running when Sam get's home (that's a dream, I hope it happens)
2. Think of something to make for dinner
3. Actually make it
4. Explain to Alex in a rational way (as opposed to my yelling) why he is not allowed to let Dillon suck on his toes (any input on this little pickle I would gladly accept!)
5. Have completed an olympic triathlon this time next year (the sprint was such a tease!)

5 jobs I've had:

1. Lifeguard at Ross Park (Pocatello)
2. Dance Teacher in Inkom (Senior year)
3. Whitewater Rafting Guide on the Salmon River
4. Library Shelver at BYU Library
5. Intern for Majority Leader of the House of Reps In Utah

5 Interesting things about me:

1. I love soy nuts (delicious)
2. I love teaching my kick-boxing class
3. I love to take baths and read (everynight if I can...even if it's still 90 deg outside)
4. I'm obsessed with athletic activities
5. I HATE folding laundry (that's not interesting, everybody hates that! Oh well)

OK, I'm being summoned again, so that will have to do.

1 of 5 rainy days in Texas

For the first time in...well, I don't know, we actually got moisture in texas! We had a blast playing in the rain for the first time!

A large group of us Texans spent an enjoyable afternoon at the Medina river in Bandera, Tx. We like to frequent this place and I especially enjoyed it now that I'm not pregnant anymore! It was empty today so we had the whole river to ourselves. We BBQ-ed hamburgeres, hotdogs, chicken, then went swimming, jumping off logs, then a bridge, then to the rope swings. What a blast!

Aubrey making her debut on the tree jump.

Sam on the tree.

Ian, Ron, Austin, Sam, Kylie

Sam and Alex at the rope swings

New Kids on the Block- 15 yrs later. Aubrey screamed like a school girl the whole time.

Sam especially loved when they came onstage and a large fan ripped their shirts off their bodies!
TOO FUN. Glad we got free tickets !

Esspencer Vacation

One sweet vacation where twins reunited!

We spent a wonderful week in Portland with Ben and Rae-Rae!
We did more this week than 3 years in Texas.

Splunking the Ape Caves. Memories of the Dark Womb :)

Kayaking lake Merwin (Ben, AJ, Sam)

Illegally crossing the Columbia River

Crazies on top of Beacon Rock

The long and SCARY descent down the large rock...
Sam was a little-bitty scared :)

Feeding the fishies

Yummy homemade/freshly picked blackberry
Birthday Pie!!

Such a cute boy, having a wonderful time! Learning to fly!!!

Oswald West Beach. This is a fantastic
place to visit! The kids were such troopers.

Feet prints in the sand.

Walking along...so picturesque
This is minutes before Uncle Ben falls in the ocean.

Hiking into waterfalls. So much fun.

We are going to have a hard time going
home to texas lifestyle after this.

Thank you for a great vacation
Don't worry, we'll come again
next year!

Baby Dillon

He is Finally Here! Dillon Max Spencer born May14th at 8:31 am. He was 8 lbs, 18.9 inches long with blonde hair. He is the cutest Itty-bitty in Texas. Alex is excited to be a big brother who loves his "baby Dilleeun." His only vice is that he is a little too helpful and loving to his brother. The C-section went great but was a tad bit odd for Aubrey when Sam and the Dr.'s started discussing her overies and innerds while the Dr. was holding her uterus...kind of weird. Sam is the happiest dad on earth but was back at work within 2 days.
