Pete and Repeat
You really could say these two are "one of a kind" because they do everything together. If one want's a drink, so does the other...if one goes to the bathroom...so does the other. If one is hitting, so is the other :)

Summer Vacation

We had a blast in California this summer! What a great vacation. For me it started out with a nice marathon run in San Francisco. What a cool and unique view of the city I got...not many people get to run over the golden gate bridge when traffic is closed. We spent some time in Santa Rosa and in San Louis Obispo to see Mark and Lora. It was great having the whole Spencer clan together! We left San Antonio at 103 degrees and arrived to a welcoming 67 degrees. We all froze but had a great time.

Austin Triathlon
Ok, so really a good reason I haven't posted since December is because I have been spending all of my free time training for this stinking triathlon...but it was so worth it. We had a blast. A few of us lady friends (and one hubby :) did the Austin Tri over memorial day and it rocked! I did the olympic (1 mile swim, 26 mile bike, 6 mile run) and did a Personal Best (ok, it's my only best since it was my first) The swim in the lake was a little crazy but no deaths occured and we finished. Now I look forward to doing the San Francisco Marathon in July! Sam too has caught the race bug and did a 1/2 marathon on his birthday (may 23) and also had a Personal Best (again, it's still a P B if it's your first). The kids are such troopers as they spend everyday...sometimes multiple hours in the gym while mommy teaches classes and daddy runs.
Boys at Play
So it has been far too long since I've updated the ol' blog...Let's give no excuses but to say we've been staying very busy here in San Antonio. Dillon and Alex are growing up way too fast and I am loving being their mom. Dillon turned 1 on May 14th and Alex is having more fun with him as slowly, every day, Dillon gets stronger during wrestling matches. Don't get me wrong, I hear Dillon's Indian war screams quiet frequently still, but Alex is finding great satisfaction in the fact that they don't come as readily as they use to.

Girly boyz
So Alex and Dillon have RSV (I know, sad...) which ultimately means I have not had the luxury of getting out much. Day 6 of being quarantined in our abode left me no alternative but to pull out all the strings of creativity in order to find some means of entertainment. This is what we came up with today. I must say, they sure are pretty :) and yes, I will have some nice leverage when they get older.
